Born and raised in Japan, Noobuyuki "Nobu" Matsuhisa (松久 信幸) began his culinary journey as an apprentice in the famous sushi bars of Tokyo. His signature became the fusion of traditional Japanese dishes with South American (Peruvian) ingredients, a style which has earned him a worldwide following and a well-deserved reputation as one of the world's top chefs.
