Observer Passes are only available to those accompanying a Dolphin Interaction participant. Tickets only available at Aquaventure Ticketing Plaza or Dolphin Bay Reception.

• Start times for your Dolphin Bay interaction are not flexible. If you miss the starting time for your interaction you will not be able to participate and you will not be entitled to a refund, however you may reschedule at a fee of AED90 per change, per person. Please ensure that you report to the reception at Dolphin Bay no later than 10 minutes before your allocated check-in time.
• All Dolphin Bay guests receive complimentary same day admission to Aquaventure and the Aquaventure private beach. If you are already at Aquaventure, you do not have to report to check-in at the Aquaventure Ticketing Plaza before your dolphin interaction and can proceed to Dolphin Bay directly.
• Please do not apply any type of tanning oil prior to entering the water. Tanning oils can wash off into the lagoons and can harm the animals. Sunscreens and sun blocks are permitted if applied in moderation. Any excess should be removed prior to your experience. Please keep in mind that you will be wearing a wetsuit which does provide some sun protection.
• Dolphin Bay is a smoke-free facility.

CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS

In the event of inclement weather, please contact Dolphin Bay for confirmation that the interaction will continue as scheduled.  Dolphin Bay reserves the right to cancel or amend programme content and price without notice.

• Full refund if reservation is cancelled 15 days or more prior to scheduled event day
• A 100% cancellation fee will be applied if a reservation is cancelled within 14 days of schedule event.

Dolphin Bay reserves the right to cancel or amend program content for reasons such as severe weather, water conditions and animal well-being.

RESCHEDULING

If you would like to change your booking, Dolphin Bay offers one complimentary date or time change prior to your visit. Further changes to your itinerary will be provided for a fee of AED90 per change, per person. Please contact Dolphin Bay at Atlantis with any questions.

POLICIES AND RESTRICTIONS

Dolphin Bay offers a Shallow Water Interaction with a group size of 10 people. Due to group size, we cannot guarantee that everyone in a party will be together during their interaction. Please contact Dolphin Bay at Atlantis for more information on personal and private interactions.

Wetsuits are provided and are required. Participants must wear appropriate swim suits underneath wetsuits.

Guests should understand English or have a translator.

For the health and safety of our animals, if you have come in contact with or been exposed to a beached or stranded marine mammal in the past 24 hours you must not participate in our programmes.

Under the proposed U.A.E Marine Mammal Regulation of 2006, Dolphin Bay advises the following:

• Marine mammal programmes present some potential risk of injury.
• That anyone who restrains, pulls or grabs at a dolphin shall be immediately removed from the programme and not permitted to return.
• Participants should not touch the eye, blowhole or genital regions of a dolphin.
• The participants should only touch the animals under the direction of the marine specialist staff.
• Entry to various non-interactive areas is prohibited to visitors.
• Showering facilities are available for guests before and after interaction sessions.
• No jewellery must be worn during any of the programmes.
• A person shall not be permitted in any interactive programme for any of the following reasons:
• A person is unable to comprehend, or disregards safety instructions.
• A person is under the influence of drugs or alcohol or otherwise similarly impaired. The determination as to the fitness of a person to participate in an interaction will be made solely at the discretion of Dolphin Bay management.
• A person is under the age or height requirement for the specific programme.
• A person is unaccompanied and unable to participate alone due to a physical or mental impairment.

AGE & PROGRAMME REQUIREMENTS

For all Dolphin Bay interactions, a parent or appointed guardian must participate in the programmes with all children under the age of 12.
Children must be able to comprehend and follow instructions. Young children may need to be held by an adult during participation due to their height and abilities. This adult must be a participant in the programme.
For the safety of everyone, those with Observer Pass must remain on the beach and are not permitted to enter the water. There is a fee for an Observer Pass at Dolphin Bay. Please contact us for details and prices.

SPECIAL NEEDS AND PHYSICAL IMPAIRMENTS

Dolphin Bay will make every effort to provide the necessary assistance for persons with special needs and/or physical impairment so that they can enjoy the experience, however under the proposed U.A.E Marine Mammal Regulation of 2006 it is required that a participating primary attendant be present in the water throughout the interaction. The participating primary attendant must purchase a Dolphin Bay interaction.
If you are pregnant and are interested in experiencing a dolphin interaction, please consult your physician.
Please inform Dolphin Bay at Atlantis of any medical conditions that could affect your participation.

CAMERA EQUIPMENT

Cameras are allowed at Dolphin Bay. Please use caution, as damage to equipment can occur due to sand and salt water. Guests with cameras are not allowed in the water at Dolphin Bay, but can take pictures from the beach. The host on duty at your interaction lagoon will provide guidance as to where you can stand during the interaction so as to not disrupt the programme.

AVAILABILITY

Reservations are subject to availability. If a participant arrives after the scheduled start time, they will not be able to participate and no refunds will be granted, however they may reschedule at a fee of AED90 per change, per person. Participants are encouraged to arrive at Dolphin Bay reception 10 minutes earlier than the specified reservation time.  On the day of your interaction, simply check-in at the reception lobby located at the entrance to Dolphin Bay at the time of your reservation. Guest name, confirmation number, (and photo identification for voucher based bookings) are required for check-in.

Dolphin Bay is located at Atlantis at the east end of Aquaventure.

RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENT

Full payment is required at the time of booking. Major credit cards are accepted. Atlantis resort guests may charge Dolphin Bay interactions to their room account if they are registered guests at the time of booking. Personal checks or money orders are not accepted for payment.
