The 4.5 hectare Dolphin Bay is an innovative education centre that enables unforgettable encounters with our bottle-nosed dolphins. Here, under the strict supervision of Marine Mammal Specialists, guests are invited to meet and learn more about our Indo-Pacific bottlenose dolphins in an unparalleled encounter programme.

THE SHALLOW WATER INTERACTION |

Enjoy an up close and personal meeting with one of our dolphins. Touching, hugging, holding ‘hands’, playing ball and feeding are some of the activities guests can experience during the interaction which is open to all ages.
The entire programme takes approximately 90 minutes. Limited to just 10 guests per dolphin, this intimate interaction begins with an orientation and includes 30 minutes in the water. Once the interaction is complete, guests are invited to enjoy a complimentary non-alcoholic beverage and make their way to our education centre. |

OBSERVER PASS |

If a guest wishes to watch dolphins at play from the Dolphin Bay beach, they can relax on a chaise lounge, take photographs and enjoy complimentary soft drinks. A visit to our education centre is also included.
Guests participating in a shallow water interaction, or visiting Dolphin Bay with an Observer Pass, also enjoy complimentary access to Aquaventure and our private beach on the same day.
Passes to this private beach are reserved for family and friends of those participating in a dolphin interaction, giving you a front row seat to the fun of Dolphin Bay. |

THE DEEP WATER INTERACTION (LAUNCHING 2009) |

Interact with the dolphins in the centre of the lagoon for a deep water experience. Snorkel and swim alongside dolphins with your own water scooter and feel the thrill as they race you across the lagoon. |

DOLPHIN BAY EDUCATION CENTRE |
 |
The Education Centre features a video presentation wall, an audio corner to hear real dolphin and whale sounds and an education corner with a specialist on hand to answer questions about dolphins and marine life conservation. It is open for free to all guests and visitors to Atlantis. A percentage of the proceeds from dolphin interactions and gift shop purchases benefits the Kerzner Marine Foundation — a private, non-profit foundation that fosters the preservation and enhancement of global marine ecosystems.
