Atlantis The Palm Mobile and Tablet Applications

Atlantis The Palm mobile and tablet based app is an informational in-resort guide and application covering the most iconic hotel in Dubai. All the tools are there for you to be able to plan your time at Atlantis, no matter how long or short your stay. The Atlantis The Palm App includes viewing and booking rooms, restaurant reservations and day visitation activities including event tickets with real-time pricing and promotions.

The app is available for the following platforms:

• iPhone (recommended for version 6 of iOS) downloadable through the Apple App Store
• iPad (recommended for version 5 and 6 of iOS) downloadable through the Apple App Store
• Android (recommended for Android 2.3.5 and above) downloadble through Google Play App Store
• Windows 8 downloadable through Windows Store

Please note that the app may work on earlier versions but we would recommend upgrading the OS where possible.

Find Your Group Members

You can find your family or friends on the resort by creating a group and use the mapping function. If you would like to do this, please complete the following:

• Click on the profile icon and register your details.
• Once registered, please use the login button with the registration details you just entered.
• Click on the new group member option. As it works on QR Codes, one device should be set to scan and the other device should be set to show. Just simply point the scanning device at the QR Code displayed on the other and you should see a confirmation message that the users are now connected.
• Under your group, move the slider to the on position for the device you want to be able to see you. If you don't slide any sliders to the on position, no one will be able to see you.
• Now click on the map and select the show map option. The icon on the button should turn blue and you should be able to see the current locations of those devices who have allowed you to see them. The application doesn't track all of those people all of the time like the show location function does. Instead if you want to see where they have moved to at any point, click on the refresh button.

If you aren't sure what device is which, touch the pin and the name of the device will be displayed.

Terms and Conditions of Use

1. General
By installing the Application (as defined below), you agree to be bound by these terms of use (“appterms”). Please review them carefully before installation and/or acceptance.

2. Definitions
The “Application” shall mean the software provided by Kerzner International Resorts Inc. to offer information and services related to Atlantis The Palm, Dubai. The definition Application also includes any upgrades from time to time and any other software or documentation which enables the use of the Application. The Application is available for Apple iOS (iPhone and iPad) and Android OS handset devices through the Apple App Store and the Google Play App Store.

3. Data Protection
The Application will require personal details for the following reasons:

• i - for group tracking. Here we will require your name and email address in order to setup and use the group tracking function.
• ii - for making room bookings, booking special promotions and for making restaurant reservations.

4. www.atlantisthepalm.com
The Application allows you to view make room bookings and purchase special promotions through our mobile website which will be governed by our website terms and conditions.

5. Propietary Rights and Licence
All trade marks, copyright, database rights and other intellectual property rights of any nature in the Application are owned by Kerzner International Resorts Inc.

6. Condition of Use
6.1 You will not, nor allow third parties on your behalf to (i) make and distribute copies of the Application (ii) attempt to copy, reproduce, alter, modify, reverse engineer, disassemble, decompile, transfer, exchange or translate the Application; or (iii) create derivative works of the Application of any kind whatsoever.
6.2 The Application is currently made available to you free of charge for your personal, non-commercial use. Kerzner International Resorts Inc. reserves the right to amend or withdraw the Application, or charge for the application or service provided to you in accordance with these appterms, at any time and for any reason.
6.3 The Application requires connection to the internet via wifi in order to download content and for purchasing of services. Although all best endeavours have been made to notify you of when you don't have wifi connection, you acknowledge that the terms of agreement with your respective mobile network provider (‘Mobile Provider’) will continue to apply when using the Application. As a result, you may be charged by the Mobile Provider for access to network connection services for the duration of the connection when there is no wifi access or any such third party charges as may arise. You accept responsibility for any such charges that arise.
6.4 If you are not the bill payer for the mobile telephone or handheld device being used to access the Application, you will be assumed to have received permission from the bill payer for using the Application.

7. Availability
The Application is provided 'as is' without warranty although all reasonable efforts will be made to make the application available at all times. However you acknowledge the Application is provided over the internet and requires wifi connectovoty and so the quality and availability of the Application may be affected by factors outside our control.

8. Termination
Kerzner International Resorts Inc. reserves the right to terminate use of the Application at any time and without notice.

9. Limitattion of Liability
9.1. By installing the Application on your device, you hereby give notice that you do so at your own risk. In no event will Kerzner International Resorts Inc. nor any of its affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, special, punitive, exemplary or consequential losses or damages of whatsoever kind arising out of your use or access to the Application, including loss of profit or the like whether or not in the contemplation of the parties, whether based on breach of contract, tort (including negligence), product liability or otherwise.
9.2. Kerzner International Resorts Inc. is not liable to you for any damage or alteration to your equipment as a result of the installation or use of the Application.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Application is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind.
